Austria’s one of the well known wood coating experts Adler decides to expand its business with the construction of a new service centre in Herford. With an investment of €10 million, this new expansion brings in new targets whereby it will boost the company’s gradual growth. At the official groundbreaking ceremony in early June, Adler Sales Manager for central and northern Germany expressed his views saying, “With our new service center, we can offer our customers even more comprehensive and faster service than we can today.” The company aims to serve a larger commercial and industry market; therefore this building will be equipped with modern tinting station for the production of better colors. This particular centre will also come with a special training area so that the popular practical seminars from Adler Academy can also be organized. This newly developed space will have an increased space capacity which will no doubt promote the production of larger amount of high-quality varnishes, stains, paints and wood protection products from Adler.
This new development will also produce new jobs by 2023 while they plan to render their excellent services to the customers with the twenty-strong sales team. Adler also encouraged local partnership as they chose local construction company as the builders of this new centre. The construction will continue until late summer 2024, with the official inauguration scheduled for early 2025.
Bernd Pichler, Managing Director of Adler Germany says, “The new base is another milestone on our successful path of expansion. From humble beginnings, business here in the heart of Germany has developed so well that this step is now possible. Herford is the ideal location for us!” This new centre will spread over an area of 6,345m² and will also have an air heat pump and a photovoltaic system for better functionality. Thus, this new expansion which comes with various solid developments is believed to promote the company’s future commercial growth.
