ADLER prepares to showcases sustainable wood coatings and innovative surface finishes at Holz-Handwerk 2026

At Holz-Handwerk 2026, Austrian coatings manufacturer ADLER will present its latest wood coating technologies and sustainable product innovations. The trade fair will take place from 24 to 27 March 2026 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. Visitors will find ADLER in Hall 12.0, Stand 316.

The company will transform its exhibition space into a dedicated surface showcase. Numerous original samples will be displayed. Surfaces will be available to see and touch. Technical specialists from ADLER will provide expert consultation throughout the event.

Innovation will stand at the centre of the presentation. Sustainability will also be highlighted. Practical performance will remain a key theme.

High-Performance Oils with Sustainable Formulations

The Legno oil range will demonstrate broad design flexibility. Natural finishes will be possible. Metallic accents will also be achievable. Warm wood tones and elegant dark shades will be featured.

A new 2K oil, Legno Smart, will be introduced. Exceptional durability will be delivered with a single coat. No wiping will be required. Application time will therefore be reduced.

Another highlight will be Legno Aqua-Oil Plus. This water-based oil will combine strong durability with efficient processing. The VOC content will remain below three per cent. A high proportion of natural and renewable raw materials will be used. Environmental standards will thus be supported without compromising performance.

Sustainability targets will be reflected in the formulation strategy. Resource-conscious production will be emphasised. Long-lasting surface protection will be prioritised.

Water-Based Lacquers for Heavy-Duty Applications

ADLER will also present Bluefin Terra-Resist, a water-based 1K clear lacquer. The product will be manufactured using natural and renewable raw materials. It will be positioned within the furniture lacquer segment.

High chemical resistance will be provided. Strong mechanical resistance will also be ensured. Heavily used surfaces will therefore benefit from reliable protection. Interior furniture manufacturers will find the system particularly relevant.

The lacquer has been developed for demanding environments. Durability will be combined with user-friendly processing. Water-based systems will remain central to ADLER’s environmental approach.

Stricter emissions regulations are influencing the European coatings market. Demand for low-emission solutions is increasing. ADLER’s exhibition focus will reflect these developments.

Creative Effect Finishes for Modern Design

Trend-driven wood processors will discover a range of effect coatings at the stand. Visual impact will be combined with technical performance.

Bluefin Pure-Metal will showcase real metal lacquer finishes in iron, tin and copper. Authentic metallic aesthetics will be created. The appearance of genuine metal surfaces will be convincingly replicated.

A new Burnt Wood effect will also be presented. The look of charred timber will be realistically imitated. No soot smell will be produced. Abrasion will be avoided. The effect will deliver strong visual character without practical disadvantages.

Designers and joiners will be offered new creative possibilities. Distinctive surfaces will be achievable with controlled application processes.

Solutions for Windows and Timber Construction

Window manufacturers and timber construction specialists will also be addressed. A comprehensive range of wood stains, paints and oils for interior and exterior use will be showcased.

Coated timber windows will be exhibited on site. Finish quality will be demonstrated using real components. Performance standards will be illustrated directly.

A new development for wood-aluminium window systems will be introduced. Expanded options in timber selection and surface design will be opened up. Further details will be shared at the stand.

Integrated system solutions will be emphasised. Products will be supplied from a single source. Compatibility across systems will be ensured.
