First Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference to happen live in June

 Wednesday, February 16, 2022

Finally back to networking live in June 2022 together with the Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences (TH Rosenheim) LIGNA invites all, to the south of Germany this summer to attend the 1st Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference that is to be launched on  June 1 and 2,  2022.

After its cancellation in autumn 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 1st Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference is now being launched in summer 2022. The organiser of the LIGNA, the world’s leading trade fair for the wood industry, Hannover-based Deutsche Messe, and the Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences (TH Rosenheim) are teaming up to welcome all to Rosenheim on June 1 and 2. As this year’s first highlight, it provides the industry with an opportunity to share ideas and network on-site.

After a long period of social distancing and video conferences, the conference will create an opportunity to interact face-to-face again and reconnect with the industry. The Conference is aimed primarily at technical management from the furniture industry, the joinery/carpentry trade and interior design as well as from the areas of wood construction and building elements and the wood-based panel industry from Germany and neighboring countries.

“After the LIGNA.Innovation Network online format, which took place in September 2021, we are now offering a highlight with the 1st Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference, which will provide the international wood industry with the opportunity for personal exchange and networking once again, after many months of social distancing including lockdowns, curfews, online events and remote video conferences,” says Stephanie Wagner, the new Head of LIGNA at Deutsche Messe in Hannover.

The contents of the 1st Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference will address the topics of digitization, prefab building and bioeconomy in line with the thematic approach of LIGNA 2023 as well as those of its exhibitors and visitors. Renowned speakers from the business community, including the companies Binderholz, nobilia-Werke, UPM and WeberHaus, will provide insights and outlooks into future developments in woodworking and wood processing in three key topic areas. These speakers will explain what drives and motivates companies and deliver user reports from the field.

Prominent brands Biesse, Homag, Microtec, SCM, Siempelkamp, Wandres and Weinig as well as Holzbau.Tech, Hundegger, imos, J. Schmalz, Leuco and Weinmann will present their machines and solutions and provide information about their products.
