Florian Wonisch, Head of Sales International, CAD+T speaks to Wood & Panel during IndiaWood about their presence in India and participation in IndiaWood. Excerpts.
Tell us about your presence in India.
Florian Wonisch: We have a couple of clients already here in India. At this moment, we are looking for somebody, rather a company who can work for us like a reseller. We are also looking to get our own office, but it’s always hard to find the right spot- whether in Bangalore, or in Delhi, or in Mumbai. That is what we are in the moment working on it.
What are your expectations from this show?
Florian Wonisch: First of all, we are here to create new contact, to get better overview as to where the most companies are coming from. India is a vast country; there are different locations so we have to know where the companies are really concentrated with all their productions thus considering what could be a good spot for us to generate our own office.
What do you think is the main highlight of the show?
Florian Wonisch: There are lot of people coming from the different parts of India. What’s also good that there are different exhibitors from joinery to machinery, tools to software etc. I think it’s all good for a customer to get the final view of what is possible on the market and what is available on the market. It is not only big companies like Homag or Biesse in the market, but there are other companies as well to choose the best benefit for the individual company.
