How has been the response for LIGNA? |

Well! Amazing, since the very first day on Monday the number of visitors at our booths in hall 27 and hall 25 was very high, unexpected for the first days of Ligna and also today on Wednesday it’s full. Crowd that shows a lot of interest in our products, we are happy about that.

Well, Ligna 2019 is all about integrated woodworking customized solutions. Where do you place yourself with respect to integrated woodworking and customized solutions? |

Well, Microtec, since the very beginning always had an eye on customized solutions for the wood working industry. The full range of our products from the Goldeneye to the add-ons and other products are fully integrated. We have a lot of modules that can also be added to integrate all the machines and all the scanners for the mill management as well as for the wood working management. So, I think we place ourselves in the very first rows of the integrated woodworking industry.

Microtec exports its products to all countries and all continents and therefore we have a particular eye on after-sales service. We have a 24*7 / 365 days after-sales customer support which works to meet our customer needs as best as possible.

Goldeneye is one of the prime products you are showcasing here at Ligna. Can we expect to see any new addition to this particular product? |
|
Yes, we are continuously improving our Goldeneye series, either for our longitudinal scanners as well as for our transversal scanner, the Goldeneye 900 and we also work to improve the feeding technology of the boardscanners. We also have scanners, such as the Goldeneye 600, able to scan wider boards. Yes, we are working hard on the development and there will always be some new features to be added to our Goldeneye systems.

And Lastly, What are the plans going forward in 2019? |
|
In 2019 we will focus a lot on new technologies especially artificial intelligence and deep learning. For sure, it will be an interesting year.
