After four and a half years of absence, Xylexpo 2022 returned with a bang. It is the most important exhibition dedicated to the woodworking and furniture manufacturing industry in Italy. This year, visitors were exposed to find novelties and innovations from over 200 exhibitors from all over the world.

Xylexpo 2022 featured everything related to wood, wood-based panels, machinery and tools for processing solid wood and panel materials. As part of their commitment to innovation, they have also introduced the Xylexpo Innovation Award recognised companies that have made significant contributions to the sector in terms of technology, products or services such as Paoletti Energy, Alterdorf, SCM, Makor, Spanex.

Visitors experienced an exciting experience at Xylexpo as they explored new ideas and technologies related to the manufacturing industry.

Dario Corbetta, Acimall Director and Luigi De Vito, President Acimall shared their experience after attending the most awaited event in four years time.  Xylex 2022 witnessed a  large participation of 16,356 visitors (24,5% from abroad), 275 exhibitors (54 from abroad).  Activities such as conferences, interviews with protagonists, novelties and innovations came alive in 18,500 net square meter in two pavillions at the FieraMilano.

Experts speak on Xylexpo 2022 visit:

Stefanie Maggi, Co-owner Maggi Technology on wrapping up from the event, opined, “ We are satisfied with Xylexpo. Expectations were much lower than this. We had many visits and we believe it will be the drive for coming months.”

Pietro Gheller – Director of Sales & Market Operations Woodworking Division SCM Group, stated, “ For SCM, the 2022 edition of Xylexpo was a special occasion to celebrate 70 years of innovations and success, next to the entire woodworking industry. ” “The exhibition offered great opportunities in terms of orders, negotiations and networking, with high rates of new customers as well. Such opportunities are distributed across our entire portfolio and different application segments in the woodworking space, with a significant share for our automation systems and engineering projects. The new technologies by SCM aroused even more interest thanks to the digital initiatives deployed throughout the event, on our digital channels and live streaming platforms, which enabled us to reach an even wider audience of customers. Summing up, Xylexpo has reaffirmed its role of reference international event for the woodworking industry and the new combination with Bimu has generated additional opportunities for customer engagement. So, congratulations to Acimall for the excellent results of Xylexpo. And special thanks who contributed with their commitment.”
