The countdown is on for the 2022 edition of Xylexpo, the biennial international exhibition of technologies for the furniture and woodworking industries that will be held at FieraMilano-Rho from October 12 to 15 next, in conjunction with 33.BI-MU and Viscom Italia.
Xylexpo 2022 once again marks the starting point of a new technological cycle after four years of absence. The international biennial of technologies for the furniture industry and the world of wood are back and will be held at FieraMilano-Rho from October 12 to 15 in Milan. “Once again Xylexpo confirms to be a faithful mirror of the market”, remarked Dario Corbetta, Director of the international biennial of technologies for the furniture industry.
The event has been one of the benchmark events for the global woodworking business for over half a century. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the cancellation of the fair’s 2020 dates. The 27th edition will thus, happens next month.
In four exhibition halls at Fiera Milano, Xylexpo will host over 450 exhibitors. At the event the woodworking companies will introduces their latest technologies and machinery, tools, paints and adhesives, semi-finished products and components for the furniture industry, forestry solutions and more to the Italian industry. The ever-growing number of visitors is expected to exceed 18,000, which will also be shared with the BI-MU expo – the premier event for machine tools, automation, additive manufacturing, digital and auxiliary technologies. The union between the two distinct but complementary fairs will broaden the scope of their target audiences and create numerous business synergies.
Besides a wider array of innovations on display and an extended line-up of potential business partners, visitors of the two co-located fairs will have access to a rich agenda of additional events. Presentations, seminars and conferences at the Xylexpo arena will offer in-depth insight on relevant topics and Industry 4.0 solutions for more sustainable and efficient production and processing methods.
