Celebrating woodworking competence Tech-Together 2022 kicked off on October 18 showcasing new developments in the woodworking industry. Tech-Together enters the second round: The successful in-house exhibition concept initiated by the machine and plant manufacturers from OWL takes place from October 18-20, 2022.

Participating companies such as Venjakob, KOCH Group, and others offered exclusive insights into their new developments.

Key attraction:

• The alternative event format launched last year by a group of dedicated mechanical and plant engineers from OWL in reaction to the cancellation of important trade fairs due to the corona pandemic is taking place again in 2022 thanks to the positive response.

• The in-house fairs aim to bring suppliers in the woodworking technology sector together with interested customers.

• Each company plans their own live and/or virtual events.

• Tech-Together focuses on sharing information about technology, innovations, new developments and customer solutions.

Tech-Together was launched in 2021 as a joint initiative by dedicated machine and plant manufacturers along with industry partners from Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL). The initiative aims to bring woodworking technology together with interested customers. Renowned suppliers covering the entire machining process once again open their doors to interested clientele from throughout the world.

Almut Rademacher from the OWL mechanical engineering association: “We think it is fantastic that the companies from OWL have launched such a great concept on their own initiative and that the in-house fairs were so successful that the format will be repeated. Naturally, we took the opportunity to form our own impression of the in-house fairs and saw that the event format was also well received by the customers. We met some of the visitors repeatedly over the course of the same day at different companies every time as they toured around OWL, as was intended. The OWL region is unique in Germany since the woodworking industry has a concentrated presence here: combined innovative power made in OWL. We are looking forward to the next Tech-Together and have already marked the date in our calendar.”
