Stora Enso, one of the leading providers of sustainable wood-based solutions for the construction industry will support the Build-in-Wood Consortium! Stora Enso has decided to especially support this project with focus on the development of the building system and in the area of component optimisation.
It is expected that this new project will benefit from the extensive experience in prefabrication and wood-based building component from Stora Enso. In this project Stora Enso will replace the Norwegian partner Splitkon who has decided to discontinue following Covid-19 uncertainties.

Build-in-Wood will soon involve Stora Enso and will be enriched with their work experience in development of building concepts, their in-depth expertise in building physics (e.g. acoustics) as well as their longlasting market engagement across Europe and European cities of all sizes.
Stora Enso will primarily focus on taking care of the technical work packages such as the Materials and Components or Building Systems. At the same time, they will collaborate in market related work packages such as business development, as well as communication and dissemination.
