 Friday, January 1, 2016

zow-copyNew year brings news hopes, new promises, new dreams and to us, lots of innovation. Here’s a quick guide on the super six shows that will set the trend barometer on  in the first quarter!

DOMOTEX

DOMOTEX 2016 is shaping up nicely. There are already very clear indications that the world’s leading trade show for carpets and floor coverings will enjoy a particularly strong and international industry turnout. “We’re on track for an extremely successful DOMOTEX 2016,” commented Dr. Jochen Köckler, a member of the Managing Board at Deutsche Messe. “We have already received more exhibitor bookings than in previous years. And the reason for that is simple: people with innovative products and ideas need a strong international platform. They need DOMOTEX.

ZOW

From 16 to 19 February 2016, ZOW in Bad Salzuflen is once again set to become the stage where innovative suppliers will be inspiring the furniture industry with new products, materials and process ideas. Despite the fact that the team of the trade show organiser Clarion Events Deutschland did not have an easy start in terms of acquisition, the list of exhibitors has been successively growing: Approximately 150 enterprises have registered to take part in the event so far – including leading suppliers of furniture components such as Formenti, Interprint or Välinge. “We are expecting a total of around 350 exhibitors, whereby international companies account for over a third of these participants”, states Frank Haubold, Portfolio Director at Clarion Events Deutschland. They will be showcasing innovative technologies, new functions and smart materials on an exhibition space covering some 20,000 m², which will be adopted by manufacturers to set new and fresh trends in the market.”

INDIAWOOD

The overwhelming response to IndiaWood 2016 has prompted the organisers to open additional halls for bookings, to accommodate the immense demand from exhibitors! “The level of interest shown in IndiaWood 2016 is remarkable. We are currently witnessing the highest demand for exhibition space in the event’s two-decade history. The enthusiasm expressed by the industry for next year’s show further qualifies IndiaWood as Asia’s leading woodworking and furniture production technologies exhibition,” said Sivakumar V, General Manager, PDA Trade Fairs.

FURNIPRO ASIA

The regional trade exhibition for the woodworking, furniture and panel production industries, FurniPro Asia will be held from 10 – 12 March 2016 at the Singapore Expo, Singapore. In addition, for its third edition, furniPRO Asia brings the latest trends in material, technology and design with the Innovation of Interior and shapes a trading platform for the ASEAN industry players with the ASEAN Exporters Pavilion.
