Raute has established a local service hub in Surabaya, Indonesia. The local service team at PT Raute Service Indonesia will support customers with installations, start-ups, and after-sales services.

Mr. Galih Prakoso has been appointed as the General Manager of PT Raute Service Indonesia. He will be the first contact point in the area on any service-related matters. Mr. Galih Prakoso has over 10 years of experience in different business development and sales management roles.

Local service experts are already working on-site and we look forward to hiring more specialists in the near future.

Raute is focused on creating value in forest assets. We believe in a future where resource-efficient and optimally connected production enables a smarter use of wood. A future where veneer, plywood and LVL are the key materials in building, furniture and packaging, among other applications.

Raute enables its customers to create value in forest assets by supplying technologies and services for profitable and sustainable production of veneer, plywood and LVL.

Veneer patching is an efficient way to fix defective veneers without clipping off or composing a huge chunk of their veneers. Many producers seek to increase their veneer recovery by looking for veneer patching alternatives rather than composing their defective veneer sheets.

In many factories, especially in Asia, veneer patching is done manually. Factory workers cut out defective veneer parts using a penknife and then patch them up manually with tapes. This results in poor patching quality, which affects the end product and is extremely labor-intensive and time-consuming.

Since its launch in 2019, Raute Veneer Patcher R3 has been helping many of our customers solve their veneer patching woes – reducing their labor cost, and improving veneer quality and production capacity. The plug-and-play patching machine requires little factory space and uses the most advanced veneer patching technology, all at a fraction of a full veneer patching line price. Yet results in the same high-quality veneer patches.
