Ponsse HH360 harvester head rotator has just been released. With the new rotator, which is a creative approach, the harvester head can freely spin 360 degrees without any restrictions. The hoses from the crane tip to the rotator are always in a fixed position with PONSSE HH360. With the newly installed rotator, the harvester head may now rotate freely without concern about unplanned downtime brought on by twisted hoses.
Superior in terms of strength, power, and energy efficiency
When fitted as a loose head installation, the potent and remarkably energy-efficient PONSSE HH360 rotator is compatible with harvester heads for the H6, H7, H8, H7 HD, H8 HD, H7 HD Euca, and H8 HD Euca. The harshest of conditions are no match for any of the harvester heads made by PONSSE. They can be employed in a variety of harvesting applications because of their distinctively straightforward and sturdy build. The electronic control system, controls, and software are all subject to comprehensive design, as are the mechanical parts. Having a highly automated manufacturing process ensures a high standard of quality and measurement precision.
The corporation explained how they have paid attention to their consumers’ demands and came up with an inventive answer. According to Janne Loponen, Product Manager for harvester heads, the spinning harvester head speeds up the processing of wood, makes work simpler for the operator, and lowers hose failures. The rotator is superior to competitor products in terms of strength, power, and energy efficiency, and Ponsse has exclusive rights to utilise the device in forest machine applications, says Loponen.
“The project with Black Bruin has progressed smoothly all the way and the cooperation has been highly productive.”
Tero Ylä-Mononen, R&D Manager at Black Bruin, discusses the benefits of using the HH360 rotator and expresses his satisfaction with how the collaboration turned out : “The HH360 is a combination of the well-known and durable radial piston technology of Black Bruin’s harvester rotators and Ponsse’s innovation. Thanks to the structure, the torque-transmitting components are wear-proof and the rotator maintains a firm grip throughout the machine’s service life. The rotator is extremely accurate in use and responds precisely and consistently to the user’s actions. That’s what makes controllability of the harvester head natural and superior in all situations.”
