Hymmen returns to face-to-face events over digital meets

 Friday, July 23, 2021

Hymmen happily announces finally in person instead of digital again, as the team organises Technological innovations live at the in-house exhibition. Together with a group of committed machine and plant manufacturers from OWL (East Westphalia-Lippe), Hymmen has decided to create an alternative event format called “TechTogether – Woodworking Competence”, which is intended to bring woodworking technology together with interested customers.

From September 27-29 the machine and system builders invite you to their respective in-house exhibitions live and in some cases supplemented by online formats. The event will take place parallel to the Ligna Networking Event, which Corona will take place online as a replacement for the live event. The focus is on the exchange of technology, innovations, new developments and customer solutions.

The experience of the Corona period has confirmed Hymmen that in plant construction with its highly complex and individual customer projects, personal exchange with customers cannot be replaced by online events, online trade fairs or webinars. The wastage is too high and focused communication is hardly possible. Even if 1: 1 online meetings were a good alternative to travel restrictions and will remain a very good addition to the business in the future, it is now time to give customers the to make technological innovations personally tangible.

Hymmen is looking forward to welcoming John Rietveldt from i4F as a “special guest” on Monday, September 27, 2021. In order to ensure that customers have protected access to innovative digital printing technologies, Hymmen and i4F have entered into an exclusive patent partnership that markets and further develops Hymmen’s strong IP portfolio. This partnership gives i4F exclusive licensing rights for all of Hymmen’s digital printing patents for flooring production. John Rietveldt and Dr. René Pankoke, managing partner and CEO of Hymmen, will give an insight into the latest market trends in flooring production, new technical developments and the advantages that the patent partnership offers customers in a panel discussion.

Customers who cannot join Hymmen’s in-house exhibition live will be offered online contact to exchange information. The content will match the contributions made by Hymmen in the Ligna Innovations Network. Finally, in addition to the delicacies in terms of content, the physical well-being of the guests will of course also be taken care of.
