Greenlam Decolan presented its all new, ultramodern AFX collection of laminates at the prestigious SICAM 2022 show. A versatile surface that can be used to adorn your interiors, whether horizontally or vertically, this surface’s hydro-repellent qualities make it perfect for installation in wet spaces like kitchens, bathrooms, and backyards. It is also widely utilised to create furniture and furnishings for high traffic areas including malls, office buildings, hospitals, and other commercial structures.

AFX’s revolutionary matte surface changes the conventional way of looking at interior surfaces. The surface is extremely matte, with no reflection technology, and is totally resistant to fingerprints, making it shiny and spotless. It is also simple to maintain thanks to its additional features of water, mould, and scratch resistance. The surface is guaranteed to be non-porous thanks to its state of the art EBC (Electron Beam Curing) technology. Greenlam AFX is produced by compressing kraft paper with the specially treated ornamental surface at a high temperature and pressure. That’s how an ultra-matt, anti-fingerprint surface is achieved, thanks to its non-porous, thermally healing top surface, which rejects light reflection. The AFX series boasts of being not just a beautiful surface, but also 99.99% virus and bacteria-resistant too.
It is ideal for kitchens since the specially coated exterior prevents any bacterial growth on the surface. Such was the curation of this technology that the surface barely reflects any light. As a result of being easy on the eyes, they are pleasant to look at. Furthermore, the exterior is sturdy even though it appears soft and silky, assuring that people and animals cannot scratch the surface due to its thermal healing properties. The fact that it is a versatile surface to decorate interiors also gives more freedom to plan and experiment.
