Andritz technology group has recently installed its PrimeFlow AT headbox with dilution control at Casalino Carta Srl, Mill in Rocca Grimalda, Italy.
The motive of the inauguration was to enhance the weight profiles and formation of the PM1 packaging paper machine (production speed of 305 to 570 m/min and a width of 2.9, at pope reel).
PrimeFlow AT headbox features an unusually nested trapezoid outlet, a lamella-shaped nozzle for turbulence control, and a high-resolution dilution profiling system. With excellent jet quality, fiber dispersion, and fiber orientation control over a wide range of grades and speeds, this system can meet most requirements.
