Schattdecor adds three new showrooms in India, China, and Malaysia for an even stronger presence and improved service for Asian customers. By opening these modern spaces, the surface specialist now offers attractive platforms and points of contact for Asian customers. The showrooms give them the ability to view Schattdecor’s product range up close and personal. The company offers a wide range of products, decors, and designs that are all based on current trend and market research. New Showroom Opens in China
Schattdecor’s new showroom in Guangzhou, China, which opened on January 1, 2019, provides additional service for customers in the southern part of the country, where China’s largest and most prominent furniture manufacturers are located. Customers and partners can obtain recommendations for new products and decors – including colour matching – at the new location and talk to various furniture designers about current interior design and color trends. Possible combinations and designs are presented using modern displays.
First Showroom in Malaysia
In addition to the new location in Guangzhou, China, Schattdecor opened its first showroom in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, in May 2018. In cooperation with designers from the company’s headquarters in Thansau – 20 kilometers from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur – Schattdecor created a modern, spacious exhibition space that is easily accessible by car and public transportation. Visitors to the showroom can experience more than 600 decors in a variety of different colors. Interior decoration and design ideas can be visualized virtually using the 360°LAB. The showroom’s six-meter-high walls are adorned with oversized digital print decors, such as the Wasabi stone decor. By adding this new location to present its products, Schattdecor aims to enter into a direct dialogue with customers, suppliers, designers, product developers, and manufacturers in Malaysia.
Even More Space to Showcase Products in India
With its new location in Mumbai, Schattdecor is adding more space to showcase its products on the Indian subcontinent. In addition to Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, Schattdecor’s products and decors have been available in India for 25 years through its representative Shah International. The new 250-square-meter showroom with additional office space will further increase the company’s presence here. Over the past few decades, the Indian market has become one of the company’s most important export markets – and Schattdecor is responding to this trend with new, modern locations and additional service by comprehensively and extensively showcasing its product range throughout the country.
