Wood based panel is an important raw material now. It fulfills consumers’ pursuit of quality life and meanwhile protects forest resources. Currently, wood based panel industry in China is being optimized and upgraded in order to bring higher values to the manufacturing chains of wooden fixtures and furniture. To cater for the needs of industrial development, the International Furniture Machinery and Woodworking Machinery Fair (WMF 2018), that to be held on September 10-13, 2018 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China, will go deep into all aspects of wood based panel production and demonstrate cutting-edge technologies from across the world. This year, WMF 2018 will be co-located with CIFF (Shanghai) to create a one-stop sourcing and information platform. A wide variety of machinery and all-round solutions will be displayed to integrate the entire industrial chain of woodworking production.

Under the themes of “Intelligent Manufacturing, Eco-Friendly & Safety, Best Utilization of Materials and Green Innovation”, the Panelboard Production & Primary Processing Zone will be set up in WMF and showcases more innovative technologies of raw material manufacturing across wood based panel production, wood protection, biomass utilization, environment protection, safety control and packaging. The fair provides a platform of obtaining market news and exchanging information for different stakeholders like machinery and accessories traders, wood products manufacturers, wood based panel manufacturers, wood processors, paper manufacturers, real estate developers, construction contractors and designers, as well as management departments of industrial parks, ports, forest farm and scientific research institutions, etc.
