Naturewall unveils new bonding line at its £1million Facility

After taking note of the feedbacks, Naturewall has implemented a game-changing and high-performance bonding line in its SlatWall manufacturing. The company delightfully announces that the pioneering upgrade is now in full force at its industry-leading workshop in Beverley, East Yorkshire.

Over the past year, Naturewall has invested over a million pounds in its UK facilities, streaming its manufacturing methods while expanding its capabilities. It is in this case that the brand-new bonding line-comes in use. The machinery is an innovative development that the company is pioneering and disrupting the slat paneling industry with. This is making the SlatWall on the market even better.

Naturewall uses it to bond the slats to the felt with heat-activated high-strength adhesive, improving the durability, longevity and, ultimately, the quality of the panels. The company not only invested enough but has also conducted countless rounds of testing to get the process and product just tight.

What is the bonding line?

The company’s heat-activated bonding line is the cutting-edge machinery that is used for attaching the slats to the felt, replacing the staples that were previously used. This is a new technique that is used in SlatWall manufacturing. It is the one that allows the production of stronger panels that make installation easier. It applies a precise amount of high-strength adhesive to adhere the materials together, creating an extra-strong bond that enhances the panelling’s durability and lasting quality. As a result, one can easily cut the panel according to ones need without any needed repairing afterwards.

What does this new production method mean for one?

Walls come in all shapes and sizes, and this new production method makes it easier than ever to bring ones vision to life The high-performance adhesive bonding strengthens the panelling, enhancing its durability and longevity. It means that one can cut it however one need to. This new new SlatWall can handle them all.

Philip Brown, Co-Founder and Commercial Director at Naturewall, said: “As part of our commitment to provide our customers with the very best quality wall panelling products, we have invested over £1m into our new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Beverley, East Yorkshire.

“This huge investment has been 18 months in the planning stage, and we are delighted to, as of March 2024, launch the site into full production.

“The facility will allow us to rapidly scale up our production capacity but, most importantly, provide an increased range of high-quality wall panelling products to the UK retail and trade market.”

The new site allows Naturewall to bring all cutting and CNC inhouse – cutting costs, giving complete control over how product can be specified and increased capability for delivering bespoke products in the contract market. As well as housing the UK’s second largest beam saw, it will feature a new adhesive bonding line and bench joinery area.

The company, who are headquartered in Leeds, will turn their existing SlatWall manufacturing centre, in Hull, into a specialist dispatch and warehousing site.
The new roles will be spread across production and distribution, at both the East Yorkshire sites.
