IndiaWood is one of the South-east Asian leading exhibitions for woodworking industry and furniture manufacturing. For its 10th edition, the biennial show will open on March 8 run till March 12 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
The event promises to offer its audience a comprehensive overview of the prevailing technological innovations and the latest manufacturing trends in furniture manufacturing, woodworking technologies, tools, fittings, accessories and raw materials.
The show floor of IndiaWood 2018 will span over approximately 50,000 square meters with more than 850 exhibitors from 40 countries showcasing the latest machines, technological innovations, equipment, smart manufacturing trends as well as materials, fittings, tools to the projected 60,000 attendees from across the globe. The show is renowned for its many live demonstrations and product launches during the show.
In 2016, 703 exhibitors from 30 countries participated. The event welcomed 50,808 visitors from 823 cities and 53 countries. Buyers clocked in for a complete overview of the market and technology in all its dimensions and created millions worth of business possibilities.
IndiaWood continues to be the largest sourcing platform for furniture manufacturers, wood based handicraft manufacturers, saw millers, carpenters, craftsmen, architects and interior designers in the region.
Over the last two decades, PDA Trade Fairs & Eumabois, in partnership with exhibitors and visitors have catalysed the growth of the Indian woodworking industry. Representing over 800 European manufacturers of machines and accessories for woodworking, Eumabois account for over 70% of the global production of woodworking machinery. Exhibiting at the show is the most efficient, effective and successful marketing tool for exhibiting companies to generate two years of business prospects in five days.
