Speciality paper manufacturer Felix Schoeller has recently presented five sustainable solutions at FESPA 2024 as a consistent implementation of the brand promise PAPER MADE FOR LIFE.

With five sustainable product solutions, Felix Schoeller has fulfilled his brand promise PAPER MADE FOR LIFE at this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo which was held from March 19 to 22, 2024 in Amsterdam. Felix has introduced the TRANSFER DT paper, which proudly features 67% less plastic, alongside the S-RACE® TERRA sublimation paper crafted from 65% recycled fibers, the SCM pro terra, and the PE-free ULTRA green photo paper, their product line-up exemplifies their commitment to conscientious resource use. These innovations signify a steadfast fulfillment of Felix’s pledge to make a meaningful impact on society and the environment through sustainable paper solutions, all while maintaining their high standards of quality.

Felix Schoeller is also making sustainable progress when it comes to the packaging of his digital media products. In close cooperation with customers, these should be 100 percent plastic-free in the future.

“We are thinking ahead with paper, consistently continuing the route away from plastic and concentrating on our main raw material, paper, and showing that PAPER MADE FOR LIFE is not just lip service,” says Jörg Borker, General Manager EMEA Digital Media. “Rather, it is an expression of an honest pursuit of sustainable solutions with real added value for our customers.” Jörg added further.

TRANSFER DT paper Matt 110 complements the transfer media portfolio

The TRANSFER DT paper Matt 110 complements the portfolio of high-quality Felix Schoeller transfer media – sustainably and without compromise. The FSC-certified transfer paper saves 67 percent plastic and therefore protects important resources. It guarantees the same excellent properties in the DTF process as high-quality transfer films – for intense colors and stable production and processing processes. “We are putting our words into action and offering customers and partners the opportunity to help drive change themselves with sustainable solutions,” says Dieter Kaumkötter, Product Manager Transfer Media. At FESPA 2023, Felix Schoeller announced his entry into the world of transfer media and launched two TRANSFER DTF films and a classic transfer film for screen printing processes.

At the same time, they promised to offer a long-term solution based on renewable raw materials. With the help of their own development teams, product experts and valuable feedback from test customers, this goal has now been realized and the comprehensive product portfolio is ready for the market with four high-quality transfer media.
