IFMAC WOODMAC 2022 is now Live and is open till September 24, 2022 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. The show encourages the growth of the National Wood Processing Industry.

The International Furniture Manufacturing Components ( IFMAC ) and WOODMAC 2022 exhibitions, the most important trade fairs in Indonesia for the procurement of furniture manufacturing components and wood-machining technology, is now Live and will continue till September 24, 2022 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Various wood processing machines with the latest technology and innovations from abroad to strengthen the Indonesian furniture industry were exhibited.

In addition to exhibiting and conducting machine demos, during IMFAC & WOODMAC, various seminars will also be held jointly with associations, government, and academics. These seminars aim to answer the problems that arise in the Indonesian furniture industry as well as provide the latest insights on world furniture industry trends to Indonesian furniture industry players.

Ahead of the exhibition, associations related to the furniture industry expressed their support so that IMFAC WOODMAC can be carried out this year after a two-year absence due to the pandemic. Chairman of the Presidium of the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Industry Association (HIMKI) Abdul Sobur said the use of technology could be a solution in competing with other countries. The use of adequate technology can not only increase the production capacity of the domestic industry, but also increase the efficiency of production costs.

“To meet the export market, Indonesian industry players must shift from the old pattern to the use of advanced technology, and technology is not always expensive. Therefore, HIMKI invites furniture industry players to attend IMFAC WOODMAC 2022 as a reference and motivation,” said Abdul Sobur in his statement.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Indonesian Sawn and Processed Wood Processing Association (ISWA) HM Wiradadi Soeprayogo said that the IMFAC WOODMAC exhibition is very helpful for the furniture and wood processing industry because it can provide updates on the development of machinery technology.

“With the IMFAC & WOODMAC exhibition, it really helps the wood processing industry in Indonesia. The players of the wood processing industry must attend IMFAC & WOODMAC to find out the latest developments in machining technology displayed at this exhibition,” said Wiradadi Soeprayogo.
