Valmet has contracted to deliver a chip washing and EVO defibrating machine system to VRG Dongwha MDF, a joint stock business in Vietnam. The order is a part of the third-quarter 2022 orders that Valmet has received. September 2023 is the projected delivery date. The order’s value will not be made public. The normal price tag for a project of this size and scope is between EUR 3 and EUR 6 million.
“We are very pleased to have been given the trust to supply the system. VRG Dongwha and Valmet already have a strong cooperation thanks to the existing two lines of Valmet defibrators and chip wash systems. Now with the delivery of the third chip washing and defibrating machine system we are further strengthening our collaboration,” says Leif Sundberg, Sales Manager, Pulp and Energy, Valmet.
According to SoHyun Jung, Project Management Officer at VRG Dongwha Joint Stock Company, VRG Dongwha had successfully finished the last project through their partnership with Valmet, and we anticipate to be able to make high-quality and stable goods with a variety of raw materials in this third line.”
Technical details about the delivery
The scope of Valmet’s delivery comprises the machinery needed for a new MDF facility, such as an EVO 70 defibrating machine system and chip washing equipment. The EVO Defibrators from Valmet are renowned for their dependable operation and affordable cost. Valmet will also offer engineering services, erection, startup, and supervision advice services for all the equipment and systems it delivers.
