 Wednesday, May 25, 2016

image7From innovative stand-alone machines to the design of networked plants, Homag group takes a look into the future of the completely digitalized world of woodworking – at the XYLEXPO showcasing individual solutions.

At the Press Conference on Day 2 of Xylexpo, Homag declared their successful record of 2015. HOMAG Group AG, one of the leading manufacturers of plant and machinery for the woodworking industry and for cabinet makers, substantially raised its order intake and sales revenue in fiscal year 2015. The group has also unveiled the new cell control system WoodFlex. This is one step closer to the future vision of Industry 4.0 as it is intended for the control and visualization of flexible production cells and their part flow.

The winning combination of Holzma saw HPP 300 profiLINE and horizontal storage system TLF 211 from Homag Automation is just one example of absolute process efficiency being demonstrated at Xylexpo. The process chain continues with the edge banding machine KAL 370 profiLine from Homag.

At the Xylexpo, experts from Homag Systems have been on hand to demonstrate concrete examples from Italy- for instance the new plant owned by Battistella Company in Pieve di Soligo, Treviso.

The new feature of the ServiceBoard generates direct benefits for customers of the furniture industry, who are working with networked plants. With the ServiceBoard, the user has numerous advantages, like display of the maintainence of all machines, display of the key figures of all machines and Calendar “Service Order”.
