Kündig AG was at LIGNA 2019 to unveil the Perfect machine series – a world first in wide-belt sanding. The Swiss-based company also premiered Technic Flash, the latest development in its range of tried-and-tested lacquer edge sanding technology.
Visitors to the Kündig AG stand got to experience sanding technology for every need. Exhibits ranged from the classic two-belt joinery sander, patented oblique sanding technology and the cross-belt high-gloss unit to brushes and texturing solutions, carousel brush unit and bottom/top sanders. A special model for requirements associated with timber construction techniques was also on display.
Highlights of Kündig AG’s presentation at LIGNA included the brand-new Perfect model series, which combines a cutting-edge design and an array of sanding technology innovations intended to meet the strictest surface quality requirements. The control unit, which has been developed from scratch, is set to make sanding even easier and more intuitive. All models are suitable for integration into any relevant control system, ensuring they are fully Industry 4.0-capable. What’s more, the Perfect series is completely modular and can be fitted with a large selection of units and options.
An impressive industrial machine from Kündig AG also proved popular with trade fair visitors. This model, from the Technic Industry range, was commissioned as a top-sanding/bottom-brushing machine by the world’s largest furniture manufacturer. It is designed to handle extreme feed rates of around 50 meters a minute in 24/7 operation.
