Schattdecor to invest in ‘Saintdecor’ in China

schatt 2In the field of impregnation (impregnated Surfaces by Schattdecor), Schattdecor has already communicated the participation in the Chinese impregnation site Saintdecor in Huanggang. With the conclusion of the joint venture agreement at the end of March 2017, they took over 50% of the Chinese impregnation site. The construction, assembly and commissioning of the two impregnation systems are currently being carried out on high-speed trains. Production is scheduled to start this year with the first plant.

 

“To provide Schattdecor customers in China with a better service, Schattdecor has decided to invest in a new impregnation factory called Saintdecor. These strategic measures take account of the importance of the growth market of China and the greatest possible security of supply for customers, “says Philipp Zhou from Schattdecor, sales management for China.

 

Current Status :

 

  • The offices are ready-to-use and equipped with furniture, computers and office materials. The quality laboratory is already equipped with appropriate test equipment and materials. After the start of production, the remaining offices will be completed step by step.

 

  • The construction of the air-conditioned finished goods store has also been completed. The bearing is already in use.The plant is currently in its first phase. The basic equipment including two impregnation units and a resin kitchen are installed in this. The first impregnation system is already assembled. The first test productions have already been carried out.

 

  • The dormitory stands. On the fifth floor, the rooms in Schattdecor standard apartments are still being renovated. In addition, a cafeteria for the employees will be opened at the end of the year – on the first floor of the dormitory.

 

  • The first resin batches have now been successfully boiled in the resin kitchen. At the moment, fine adjustments are still being made to the reactors and their software. The raw material warehouse has also been completed.
