Valencian architect and designer Ramón Esteve has taken on the challenge of creating the spaces for the urban hotel that will form the substance of the “Easy Contract” exhibit. Set to be located in Pavilion N3P6, this initiative is sure to be one of the major attractions of the upcoming edition of FIMMA – Maderalia (February 6 to 9). Unique architecture and the most innovative materials currently available on the market will be deployed to evoke different spaces and rooms found in an urban hotel.
The installation will in fact showcase materials and products on show at this edition of Maderalia, in particular from leading edge, benchmark manufacturers such as multinational Sonae Arauco, Grupo Alvic, Faus, Tarimatec and Bariperfil. These three companies, which are all major exhibitors at the 2018 Maderalia fair, will be donating some of their most innovative products and materials to dress an installation that is poised to be the star attraction of this next FIMMA – Maderalia.
Four settings and a broad colour palette
Esteve is one of the industry’s most highly regarded professionals and has designed a huge space in which he will create four settings using a four-colour palette. He has chosen grey for the lobby, black for the cocktail bar, white as the main colour for the rooftop infinity pool area and, lastly, brown for the rooftop ‘chill’ zone.
The installation will create these spaces virtually, generating images such as back-lit plans. These images will provide continuity between the real space and the virtual space, enhancing the architectural experience of the stand by creating the impression that it is higher and deeper than it really is.
