PALLMANN Group, one of the world leaders in size-reduction technology, has made three new appointments, naming Mauro Gama Managing Director for Pallmann do Brazil in São Paulo, John Crowley sales director for Pallmann Industries’ Rubber Recycling Division, and Simon Howard sales manager for Pallmann Industries’ Process Division. The latter two are both based in the US.
This appointment comes as Germany-based Pallmann continues to grow its business globally, especially in the Americas. Pallmann Senior Executive Vice President Rolf Gren said the group is keen to expand its activities throughout South America.
“We believe there is considerable potential around the world for our equipment, which is increasingly in demand across various processing industries, including wood, plastics, rubber and textiles,” he said. “With growing awareness of the need to conserve and reuse material resources, opportunities are increasing for innovative recycling technologies. Pallmann is a global leader in this area, and we intend to keep growing.” as the leader in these fields.
Gren notes that South America figures strongly in Pallmann’s strategy. Having Gama, with his intimate knowledge of the local industry, in place to lead its Brazilian operations will help the firm to drive growth in the region.
Simon Howard, meantime, has been hired as sales manager for Pallmann Industries’ Process Division, also in Clifton. “The Process Division is one the fastest-growing parts of the Pallmann Group,” said Gren, “and we are now in the position to strengthen our customer penetration in Americas.”
