 Thursday, March 14, 2019

Biesse gears up to present the future of Industry 4.0 at Ligna with innovations in robotisation and digital technology. The leading trade fair is scheduled to showcase innovations from the wood industry across the world. Biesse is ready to showcase their hi-tech innovations and share the utility of each new technology in HALL 11, a real experience of the future.

They have developed user friendly machines and designed new strategies to accelerate business amidst growing competition in the respective market. With advanced automation concept, they further aim at strengthening the bond between man and robot, thus accelerating production efficiency through innovations. “Our objective is always to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty, which is why, thanks to the new technology and services we offer, we are able to create a solid and functional bond between “human & robot”, thanks to the privileged position occupied by people, who are at the centre of our business strategy. Biesse accompanies the customer through every phase of day to day work, starting with the dissemination of the automated digital factory in the world of manufacturing and providing necessary tools for efficient production” Federico Broccoli Wood Division/Sales Director and Subsidiaries Division Director Biesse shared their view on their plans in Ligna.

At the Biesse stand in the Ligna, visitors will witness 3 automated process solutions from the raw materials to finished products. They will also display several robotised cells which are flexible, customisable and modular, meeting fundamental requirements for productions. Leading innovation makers, Biesse now pairs robotisation and digitalisation along with the development of new software and indulges into an innovative journey that begun with SOPHIA, the IoT service platform, enhancing its performance and improving customer interaction through customisation. The process is time saving and also reduces manpower involvement. The participants at Ligna will be able to experience the cutting-edge technological innovation, test the new tools, digital automation and also experience how SOPHIA could revolutionise daily work. Raphaël Prati, Corporate Marketing Communications Director, concluded, “we believe in the Future and in the work of the people who, over these 50 years, provided crucial support for the international growth of Biesse. Which is why we wish to dedicate the 50 years of Biesse to the Future and to those who have made Biesse the Group it is today”.
