Koelnmesse has decided to call off FurniPro Asia – the biennial trade show for woodworking, furniture manufacturing show held at Singapore.
After much deliberation, and thorough examination and discussion with exhibitors and industry stakeholders, Koelnmesse has decided not to stage furniPRO Asia again in Singapore. furniPRO Asia was first held in 2012, and had been conceptualized as a regional hub for the woodworking, furniture and panel production industries in ASEAN. Despite an encouraging start with strong support from associations and key exhibitors, the event has not been able to gather sufficient traction within the industry.
After three editions, Koelnmesse has therefore decided to cancel furniPRO Asia.
Koelnmesse will instead redirect our efforts to strengthen their established trade fairs in the furniture production industry. This includes interzum guangzhou, which attracts a large number of ASEAN buyers every year.
