Industry 4.0 is here, and this May at Hannover fairground, the veneer cutting machine specialist, JOSTING Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. is gearing up to display the new MultiCut DC double-knife now perfected with latest Siemens S7 touchscreen control unit and advanced controlling system. The new cutting machine is to be unveiled at LIGNA 2019 in Hannover. This machine specialises in cutting veneer, foil and other materials.
Since 2017, under the sole management partner Stefan Brokfeld, the company JOSTING Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG upgraded their services. Stefan Brokfeld acquired mechanical engineering specialist Brokfeld Maschinenbau GmbH & Co.KG, to support JOSTING with advanced technological services, perfecting veneer cuts with technologically advanced machines. The companies amalgamated to offer advanced services that will meet customer needs in an innovative way. The specialists of veneer cutting, now also offer an end-to-end portfolio handling. Machines will however, take the centre stage at LIGNA 2019, and the company will demonstrate how these functions.
The new MultiCut DC help in cutting veneer packs perfectly and straight on two sides with the help of a top and bottom knife, hence it will assist in conducting easy tight-jointed splicing for different types of veneer. In order to get the needed width dimension, a powerful drive quickly moves this machine table with the bottom knife that helps in moving the machine properly and adjust to the right position. As the pack is compressed, then the top knife will cut down towards the table and the bottom knife will press the bar. The new upgraded technology within the MultiCut DC system includes the key new feature, Siemens S7 touchscreen control unit that is now fitted with the MultiCut DC system, a unique designed unloading station that will remove or transport veneers specially available for the machine.
