interzum Guangzhou 2019: a grand wrap up

One of the most influential trade fair in Asia at furniture production, woodworking machinery and interior decor industry interzum guangzhou 2019 came to a rousing end to critical acclaim on March 31 after four days of business. Over 1500 exhibitors showcased their creativity and innovations in the latest technology in Furniture Production industry, attracting more than 90,000 visitors from China and abroad not only experienced several products display but also invested in product purchase.

 

The 2019 event encompassed an area of 150,000 square meters where a total 340 international companies displayed their innovation to attract visitors from 132 countries. This year the four day show experienced footfall of record number of visitors who got an opportunity to experience the latest and best products introduced in the domain. “The number of both domestic and international exhibitors at interzum guangzhou has hit new historical highs this year. We’ve also seen a jump in the number of buyers coming and making use of this platform for procurement. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area will no doubt inject a further boost to the furniture manufacturing node in South China,” says managing director of Koelnmesse Co., Ltd., Mr. Keith Tsui.

 

Ms. Nokky, export manager of Green Latex from Thailand, said about their debut participation: “There were a lot of international buyers on the first day of the exhibition, and many of them were interested in our products. I am not exhibiting in China for the first time, and the buyers at interzum guangzhou are of higher quality compared to other shows in China. Most of the visitors are middle and high-level managers and have the power to make purchasing decisions. We will continue to participate next year.”

A major attraction this year at CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2019 included showcasing of eight national pavilions from Germany, Turkey, South Korea, US / Canada and trade associations American Hardwood Export Council, Canada Wood, French Timber and Malaysian Timber Council together with their respective member companies and their products and solutions. Engaging seminars were an epicentre for knowledge sharing and enlightening about business enhancement strategies. Along with the product displays and demonstration, the event attracted meets and one-on-one sessions with the exhibitors. The next CIFM / interzum guangzhou will take place from 28-31 March 2020, at Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, China.
