Imola is going to host the ninth edition of Cefla Live from October 18 to 20, 2017. The exclusive international event that lets participants get a first-hand look at cutting-edge technology for the finishing and decoration of materials of every type and shape. During the three-day event, visitors to the LAB in via Bicocca, Imola, can participate in meetings with technicians and experts to get a preview of the future of finishing.
They’ll also be able to see all the most innovative systems designed and built by Cefla, in action. Cefla, in fact, will be giving a more in-depth illustration of the technologies presented at Ligna 2017, such as the Omnidry vertical kiln range with Flexpro function, which can handle variable load thicknesses, and the tactile effects obtained with J-Print 3D printers. Cefla Live will also be showcasing solutions that take Industry 4.0 into account, solutions that allow for the establishment of true Smart Factories. Visitors can also enjoy demos of cCloner, the interactive 3D line and machining process simulation software, cTracker, the line supervision interface that, among many other things, tracks the machining of each individual piece, and Smart contract, the flexible, modular after-sales service that lets Cefla technicians act where and when necessary thanks to live monitoring of processing lines. Moreover, during Cefla Live there will be test runs with all the Cefla technologies and solutions on show, such as the iBotic spray robot with new interpolated 4-axis technology. LAB’s 3,250 m2 will also be hosting many of Cefla’s partners: paint, pump, spray gun, sanding belt and 3D scanner suppliers to name just a few.
Cefla Live also offers a great opportunity to find out more about the company’s other Business Units: C-LED, which will be showcasing LED technology for the furniture industry, and Plant Solutions, which will examine topics such as the environmental impact of production plants and the cogeneration and tri-generation solutions that can improve productivity and lower energy consumption.
As in previous editions, a meeting will be held with the specialised press. Scheduled for Thursday afternoon, October 19, the meeting will illustrate the latest Cefla Finishing products during a guided tour of the technology on show. It will also provide a sneak peek of new products to be launched on the market in the coming months.
