Homag Group, the world’s leading manufacturer of machines and equipments for the woodworking industry, is ready to open its doors with Homag Treff yet another time to the woodworking industry at the headquarters at the Black Forest of Germany on September 24-27, 2013. Homag invites people with a passion for wood at the event where they will be showcasing 50 innovative machines in an exhibition area of 10,000 square metres.
The event is likely to attract visitors from around the world. The main focus of this year’s Homag Treff is “PowerTouch”, a new concept for the operation and control of machines, developed by the Homag Group. This truly justifies their cry “Touch the future”.
The increasing popularity of furniture produced to a high standard of processing quality and seamless designs continue to rule. Leading office, bathroom furniture and fitted kitchen manufacturers are turning increasingly to the laserTec method developed by Homag. To keep up with the demands, at this year’s Homag Treff, Homag will be unveiling its own internally developed airTec-System for edge processing using hot air with feed rates of up to 20m/min. This allows medium-sized producers to reap the benefits of zero joint technology with an ideal entry-level solution package. This unit is designed for permanent use without compromising the pull-off strength of edges or heating up the machine environment. It eliminates the familiar drawbacks of hot air technology used to create an optical zero joint.
These innovations have already been presented at this year’s LIGNA, however, the in-house display will encourage the buyers to get a closer, in-depth idea of the same.
HOLZMA, as always will be an inseparable part of the event. During the four days of the Homag Treff they will put the latest dustEx, the extraction system which takes dust cuts easily in its stride, on display.
This in-house event had been a major attraction to the interior fittings manufacturers.
