The Board of Directors of Forbo Holding Ltd has appointed Urs Uehlinger as the new Chief Financial Officer and member of the Forbo Group Executive Board. He will take up his new appointment in the spring of 2017.
Urs Uehlinger is 50 years old and a Swiss citizen. Since 2011, he has been CFO of the global product business at the “Control Products and Systems” Business Unit of the Siemens Building Technologies division. Previously, he held various financial positions at Siemens Building Technologies and within the ABB Group.
He will take up his new appointment in the spring of 2017, taking over from Andreas Spreiter, who will leave the company in May 2017.
Forbo is one of the leading manufacturers of floor coverings, building and construction adhesives, as well as power transmission and conveyor belt solutions.
