Festool returns to LIGNA with advanced safety features in saw blades

Festool aims at returning to LIGNA 2019 with advanced safety products in wood processing. Saw operators are gearing up to offering solution to the wood manufacturers with latest bench-mounted circular saw upgraded with SawStop technology.

 

 

Over 90 years manufacturers of system products Festool is highly recognised for producing tools and machinery used by the cabinetmakers, varnishers and painters. The company currently holds over 350 patents, which is a testament to its strength as an innovator. In fact, it has been breaking new ground in technology ever since it was founded as Fezer & Stoll in 1925 and launched the first portable chainsaw.

 

Festool to showcase innovation in saw technology at Hall 13, stand A16. The new bench-mounted circular saw with SawStop technology is designed to prevent operators from suffering serious cuts. This groundbreaking system, the saw blade stops within five milliseconds after coming into contact with human skin, disappearing into the machine table and out of the hazard zone. The company is also showcasing its range of timber construction products this year in the Festool truck on the trade fair’s open-air site.
