2nd September, 2013 marked the day when 23 young trainees started their professional training in ten different professions and studies, in Dieffenbacher. At the beginning of the introduction week, the entrants were greeted by a member of the family Dieffenbacher, the personnel department, the competent trainers and the works council. On the first two days at the main plant in Eppingen the entrants received through presentations, training sessions and a tour of the first insights into business and organizational processes.
Teamwork, trust, responsibility and fairnes are core values in the corporate culture at Dieffenbacher and for a successful vocational training is particularly important. Therefore, the young professionals launched directly into a launch week in which exactly these important principles were the focus.
Several team tasks that could only be solved together were on the program. It also included a balance exercise on ropes and orienteering through the Swabian Forest. At a barbecue evening, representatives of the HR department and the instructor answering questions about the training and the company.
The company is hopeful about the outcome of the project as it will provide them with some kind of solid platform to ensure future sustainability.
