Delhiwood 2019 is all set to prove itself once again

The 6th edition of the woodworking industry’s eagerly anticipated biennial event, DelhiWood2019, will be another ornamental feather in this Wooden cap. The event will be held between March 13-16, 2019, at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, India.

 

Organised by Nuremberg Messe, in cooperation with PDA Trade Fairs and supported by Eumabois, the 14-country federation of European woodworking machinery manufacturers, the 6th edition of DelhiWood proudly announces an unprecedented 30% growth in size. Besides the customary presence of the world’s leading woodworking technology companies, DelhiWood 2019 is rich in international presence with over 45% international exhibits occupying the total space.

 

DelhiWood 2019 will deliver robust business interactions for all involved in uplifting India’s dynamic furniture manufacturing and woodworking sectors amidst its shift towards a technology-based industry.

 

INDIAWOOD, DELHIWOOD and MUMBAIWOOD has joined with Nuremberg-based exhibition HOLZ-HANDWERK to form a new international product family with the theme of “woodworking trade fairs” India is an important future market for the wood processing industry.

 

The Indian woodworking and furniture industry alone generates revenues of around 20 billion dollars a year and employs more than 300,000 people. Imports worth more than 225 million US dollars attract international companies from more than 67 countries to India. The three new exhibitions in the NürnbergMesse Group portfolio play a key role in the Asian region.

 

The international flavour of DelhiWood is reflected in the many country pavilions at the
show. Participating pavilions from Canada, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey & USA will showcase their home-grown innovations and products at DelhiWood 2019.

 

Offering a platform for converting potential to commerce, DelhiWood 2019, showcasing
modern automated solutions in furniture and wood-based production technologies, will open opportunities to the projected US$-27-billion by the year 2022 in the Indian wood-based furniture and products market.

 

Among other highlights, DelhiWood 2019 is hosting an International Timber Forum that
aims to bring furniture manufacturers, builders, architects, interior designers, civil engineers and construction project consultants to connect with international timber suppliers to understand the different species of timber suitable for India, engineered wood and their properties and availability.
