Biesse appoints new Subsidiary Director for Russia

 Wednesday, November 16, 2016

biesseBiesse Group continues to focus on the Russian market, indicating the company’s belief in the high potential of the region. Against this backdrop of renewed confidence, the new General Director of the Moscow subsidiary has recently been presented.

Matteo Vaglica expressed his enthusiasm for his recent appointment: “I’m delighted to be joining a Group which is pursuing a number of major investment programmes in this area – in spite of the recent uncertainty of the Russian market, Biesse has chosen not to overlook the region. The company’s commitment has been demonstrated through the consolidation of the new subsidiary in Moscow, and further reiterated by the recruitment plan which is set to be rolled out in the short to medium term. It is my belief that this is exactly the right path to take, in order to exploit the full potential of a market like this one, which has so much to offer”, concludes the new Subsidiary Director.

Vaglica will report directly to Federico Broccoli, Biesse Wood Division Director/Sales – Subsidiaries Division Director.

Broccoli says, “We are in no doubt of the fact that Matteo is the person who is best suited to this role. He is capable of uniting the international trade policy pursued by the Group with the needs and opportunities that the Russian region presents, whilst achieving full customer satisfaction. In addition to this, the enthusiasm that he has demonstrated in accepting this new challenge fully reflects the Group’s spirit, along with our confidence in Russia – both with regard to its people and as a market of reference. I am sure that this will prove to be a source of great satisfaction.”

As further testament to Biesse’s desire to continue to invest in the region, the newly-established Biesse Group Russia subsidiary took part in the recent edition of the Lesdrevmash trade fair. The Moscow facility is 100% owned by Biesse, and will be dedicated to meeting all operational requirements within the region. The subsidiary is already fully up and running, and is set to move into a site which boasts new and larger spaces in the first quarter of 2017.
